| Patent US4344424: Fit for Hannibal Lecter |
As part of Agrow Intelligence's search for company R&D information, we keep an eye on patent activity by using a number of sources. One patent database that we use, Delphion, has provided a fabulous called "Gallery of obscure patents".
My favourite is the "Anti eating face mask", which looks like something the Spanish Inquisition would have been proud of (US4344424), although the eating utensil claimed in US4809435, a cross between a pair of chop stick and a fork, is a close second. Just use a fork!
At Agrow Intelligence, we try to pick the patents that indicate to us which area of agrochemistry looks promising. I'm currently looking at some epoxiconazole derivatives that are under investigation at BASF.
I'll try to post some more interesting patents as I come across them, but please feel free to add any of your own.
Agrowmax.
